SIMATIC s7-1200 CPU
The SIMATIC S7-1200 system has three different modules: CPU 1211c, CPU 1212c, and CPU 1214c, each of which can be expanded to fully meet your system requirements. The signal board can be added in front of any CPU to easily expand digital or analog IO without affecting the actual size of the controller. The signal module can be connected to the right side of the CPU to further expand digital or analog IO capacity. Cpu1212c can connect 2 signal modules, while cpu1214c can connect 8 signal modules. Afterwards, all SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU controllers can be connected to up to three communication modules on the left side for convenient end-to-end serial communication.
Integrate PROFINET interface
Integrate PROFINET interface for human-machine interface and programming and communication between PLCs. In addition, the interface supports third-party devices using the open Ethernet protocol. This interface has an RJ45 connector with automatic error correction function, providing a data transmission rate of 10100Mbits. It supports up to 16 Ethernet connections and the following protocols: TCPIP local, ISO over TCP, and S7 communication.
SIMATIC S7-1200 Integration Technology
The SIMATIC S7-1200 has integrated technologies for computation and measurement, closed-loop control, and motion control. It is a very powerful system that can accomplish various types of automated tasks.
High speed output for speed, position, or duty cycle control
The SIMATIC S7-1200 controller integrates two high-speed outputs, which can be used as pulse sequence outputs or outputs for adjusting pulse width. When configured for power output, provide a 50% duty cycle pulse sequence at speeds up to 100 kHz to control the open-loop speed and position of stepper motors and servo drives. Two high-speed counters are used internally to provide feedback for pulse sequence output. When configured as a PWM output, a fixed cycle output with variable duty cycle will be provided to control the speed of the motor, the position of the valve, or the duty cycle of the heating component.
